i remember at squam the first year i was in susan schwake's class (the ONLY class that you and i didn't have together, ha!) britt and i had gone out to take pics so that we could paint a landscape as our teacher had requested. we took a lot of pics but the one we both ended up choosing was what looked like the exact same view from the pier over to potato island... but our perception of it was totally different through our viewfinders and our paintings looked NOTHING alike. it's so awesome to see the world through YOUR eyes.
