On Fortuitous Doubts and Insecurities...
I signed up for Kelly Rae Roberts' e-course, Flying Lessons: Tips & Tricks To Help Your Creative Business Soar, and resisting it greatly.
I love it. I know I want it. I believe it's the next step in the path I want to forge in both my artistic and work lives. But I've been blindsided by fear almost to the point of tears and all I can say is WTF?
This is not about the course. The course so far is amazing.
I suspect it's more about resident doubts and insecurities at even thinking that I could be a successful artist or a businesswoman. I knew they were there, I guess I just never gave them such a perfect opportunity to all show up at once. I guess it's time to deal.
Wish me luck?

i BELIEVE in YOU!
love and hugs.xo
Hey Steph and fellow Squammette! :) Good to know I'm not the only one dealing with the fear thing. It has snuck up on me as well as I've started taking some little steps, and I agree the course is amazing!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, but I'm sure you don't need it. :)
You don't need luck, Steph - you have all the ingredients you need to soar. Give yourself permission to run with this and then watch everything unfold. I see you riding that roller coaster with your hands up in the air screaming at the top of your lungs! Wheeeeeee!
ReplyDeletehello Stéphanie and thank you for passing by :) I agree with Lala, it is about giving ourselves permission. I also think that courses like that can stir things up and make us feel uncomfortable but they can heal too :)
ReplyDeleteYou can do it! Like you said -- just be yourself and good things will come. BTW - love the abstract paintings - they are lovely!
ReplyDeleteWeek 2 and things continue to build for a whole big life change! Fellow flyers UNITE!
ReplyDeleteHi Steph, co-flyer! Feeling fear when you deal with a new venture is absolutely normal. Balancing that in positive spirit is also hard to do. But look at what you did and acheived! Your paintings that you're doing now are wonderful. I think we sometime forget to praise ourselves. I'm gradually learning to accept and praise myself to push my back. What you believe is what you are going to be! X M
